1. Free Shipping for all the EUROPEAN orders
Officine di Murano 1295 Srl offers free shipping on all orders, with no minimum purchase required.
Any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees (for shipments outside the EU) remain the responsibility of the Customer unless otherwise specified.

3. Shipping Times
All Murano glass pieces are handcrafted and may require different production times depending on the technique and the specific item.
Estimated timelines:

Ready-to-ship items ( Buy It Now* items ): 2–5 business days

Handcrafted items, made to order, or backorder items, ( Reserve It Now* Items) 15 to 30 days

Custom or personalised items: timing communicated individually

Product Availability, Stock Status and Made-to-Order Items
For technical reasons related to catalog management, some products on the Platforms may display the wording “in stock”.
However, the actual availability and delivery timeframe of each item is determined solely by the purchase option shown on the product page and by the delivery estimate displayed below the relevant purchase button.
Accordingly, products fall into two categories:
a) Ready-to-Ship Items – “Buy It Now”
Items presented with the button “Buy It Now” are available for immediate dispatch.
The estimated delivery time (generally 2–5 business days) is shown on the product page.
b) Made-to-Order / Pre-Order Items – “Reserve It Now”
If a product displays “Reserve It Now”, it is not physically in stock, even if the page shows the generic stock label used by the system.
These items are handcrafted upon order, and the production and delivery timeframe (typically 15 to 30 days) is clearly indicated below the button.
In this case, the Customer must rely on the delivery estimate shown below the “Reserve It Now” button, which overrides any automated “in stock” indication.
By placing an order for a made-to-order or pre-order item ( Reserve It Now * button), the Customer expressly acknowledges and accepts the indicated production time.
Given the artisanal nature of Murano glass manufacturing, production times may vary slightly. Such variations do not constitute a breach of contract or non-performance by the Company.
Due to the nature of the goods and the manufacture procedure, All lead times are estimates and not guaranteed.
Delays caused by couriers, customs, holidays, weather conditions, or external events are not attributable to Officine di Murano 1295 Srl.
4. Couriers Used
We work with leading international express couriers, selected for reliability and safety:

Poste Italiane / EMS (for selected destinations)
The courier is chosen automatically based on destination, parcel size and the nature of the item.
5. Insured Shipping
All shipments are:

insured against loss, and
-
insured against transport damage.
Insurance becomes void if:
-
the parcel is not collected,
-
the Customer fails to report damage within the required time (see below),
-
the Customer does not cooperate with courier or insurance verification.
6. Delivery and Customer Responsibility Upon Receipt
Risk of loss or damage transfers to the Customer:
-
upon delivery to the Customer or a designated recipient, or
-
upon delivery to an Access Point / drop-off location.
In case of damage upon delivery:
The Customer must notify us within 48 hours and provide:
-
clear photos of the damage,
-
photos of the exterior packaging,
-
order number and recipient details.
Without these elements, we cannot initiate the insurance claim.
7. Missed Delivery Attempts / Unclaimed Parcels
If the courier attempts delivery and the Customer is unavailable:
-
the parcel may be held at a local pick-up point, or
-
it may be returned to us.
If the parcel is returned due to non-collection:
-
return shipping costs will be charged to the recipient
-
a second shipment can be arranged once additional fees are paid.
8. Fragile Products: Packaging and Care
All Murano glass items are packaged with professional-grade protection:
-
certified shock-absorbent materials
-
double-boxing when needed
-
secure internal padding
-
“FRAGILE” labels
Despite precautions, courier handling may cause damage — which is covered by insurance if reported within the allowed timeframe.
9. Address Modification
The shipping address can be changed only before the order is dispatched.
Once the shipping label has been issued:
-
address changes may not be possible
-
additional courier fees may apply
10. Order Tracking
Once the order is shipped, the Customer will receive:
-
a tracking number,
-
a direct tracking link,
-
any additional delivery instructions if necessary.
Tracking becomes active within 12–24 hours after the shipping label is created.
11. International Shipments: Customs Duties and Taxes
For deliveries outside the European Union:
-
customs duties,
-
import taxes,
-
or any additional local charges
are the Customer’s responsibility.
Officine di Murano 1295 Srl is not liable for:

customs delays,
-
additional charges imposed by local authorities.
Import duties, taxes, and fees for orders shipped to extra-EU countries are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are imposed by the customs authorities of the destination country and are not included in the purchase price or shipping fees.
Estimating import charges:
If you wish to estimate the possible import charges before placing your order, we strongly recommend contacting your local customs office. They can provide detailed information based on your country’s regulations and the product type.
When contacting customs, please provide them with the appropriate HS code of the product you intend to purchase. This will help them give you an accurate estimate.
