Murano glass is shaped by hand and fire. Temperature, timing and the glassmaker's touch all influence the final piece, which is why no two lamps are ever identical. For our main collection, every lamp goes through a careful selection to make sure it closely matches the original design. When a lamp turns out a little differently, we offer it here instead.
Colour
A tone slightly lighter, deeper or warmer than the original model.
Pattern
A swirl, stripe or murrina that formed in its own way.
Surface details
Small marks or texture variations natural to handmade glass.
Shape
Minimal differences in proportion or thickness.
Purely visual. These differences never affect how the lamp works, its safety or its durability.

About the imperfections

Yes. They’re brand-new lamps, never used or returned. They simply didn’t pass the final selection for our main collection.

Small marks from the glassmaking process: glass canes a little too close together or too narrow, tiny air bubbles, slight irregularities in the pattern. They’re part of mouth-blown glass, but they don’t meet our standard for the main collection.
